How do I submit my entry to enter the contest? You can participate by following the easy to understand, 3 step process- Register on the site, Submit entry & Share with friends. You first need to register by clicking here. Just follow the steps in the wizard and complete them to submit your entry.

What if I don't get a confirmation email? You should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of registration. If you use a Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. account, be sure to check your spam folder incase it was blocked.

My entry isn't showing up. Who can I contact? All entries can be accessed on the entries page as well as your individual profile page. If the site is experiencing high traffic, please be patient and wait for us to showcase it. In case your entry is still not showing up on the site after 2 hours, please contact us at contact@dellgogreen.com. All entries are moderated. In case your entry has been deemed inappropriate by the site moderators, the entry will not be publicly available and you will be notified of the same.

What file formats do you accept? We will accept entries in the form of text, along with pictures and videos. Video formats supported include MP4 and AVI. Photos submitted should be in JPEG format.

I've never made a video before. How do I make a video? Check out YouTube's tutorial on how to create a video.

Is there anything I'm not allowed to do in my entry? Copyrighted content is prohibited, as well as pictures and videos that contain inappropriate or offensive language, themes or imagery. Dell retains the right to remove any entry deemed inappropriate.

How do I know if I have successfully applied? When your entry is successfully submitted you will receive a confirmation thank you page as well as an automatically generated email with a link to your entry. Successfully submitted entries will also be listed in the Recent entries tab on the Entries page.

How will the winners be chosen? The Top 20 entries are shortlisted by the no. of votes they get.
From the Top 20 most voted entries, the 3 Critic’s Choice award winners will be selected by the jury panel.
The other entries in the Top 20 most voted list will receive consolation prizes as well.

Why should I vote? Each time you vote, you are entered into a Most Active User of the Week contest (separate from the other contests). The Most active user for each week would win Dell Go Green T-shirts by voting on entries, sharing links on social networks and commenting on entries and blogs!

Can I vote for my own submission? Yes. In fact, you are encouraged to. Feel free to come back and vote for your entry (or anyone else's).

Is there a limit on the number of votes I can receive? No. There is no limit to the number of votes you can receive.

How do I promote my entry? Tell your friends about your entry by using the share button, to post the entry link on your blog, Facebook, Twitter, Orkut and other social networks.

When is the last day to submit entries? The final day to submit your entries is Saturday May 1 at 11:59 p.m. (IST)

When is the last day I can vote? Voting ends on Sunday May 2 at 11:59 p.m. (IST)
