Well, we have a simple way to understand what the whole 'Go Green' movement means to us, as consumers and citizens of the world:-
The world has a fixed amount of natural resources which are reducing each day. Our population is ever increasing. Fewer resources are available for the coming generations.
Our unsustainable ways of living have put too much strain on our planet's resources, and its showing up now in our own lifetimes.
Increasing prices of natural resources like petroleum, minerals and metals are impacting everything from the cars we drive, to the food we eat, to the gadgets we use. And not to mention, climate change. Something that we are witnessing everyday in our cities and towns; with unseasonal rain and record temperatures disrupting life and economic growth. Fewer resources are available for the coming generations.
Well, for starters, we give you 3 easy to do steps that can be implemented in everything you do in our daily routines:-
Conserve. Decrease wastage in everything possible. The lesser you waste, the more you conserve. Redesign.Reuse.Recycle Don't throw away old things- gadgets, clothes, books, anything. Find new uses for them. Support 'Green' Design. Purchase and promote only those products and services that are designed to help enable the above two points.
If we intend to leave our future generations with the same standard of living we have enjoyed, we must conserve what we have today. And all of this starts with you.
Today. For tomorrow may be too late.
